AL MAR Knives products carry a limited lifetime warranty subject to the terms and conditions below.
How to claim your warranty?
Contact us! Only AL MAR Knives personnel can make warranty determinations on our products. Once your warranty has been approved, we will provide you with shipping instructions and a Return-Merchandise-Authorization (RMA) number. The RMA number must be plainly visible on the outside of the box and placed next to the “ship to” address. Packages sent without an RMA number will be refused.
What is covered?
Al MAR warrants that all Al MAR products will be free from manufacturing defects and defects in materials. Al MAR’s sole responsibility for any such defects is limited to Al MAR’s choice of repairing or replacing the defective products or parts.
This warranty only applies to genuine AL MAR products purchased from authorized AL MAR dealers.
What is not covered? (Exclusions)
This warranty does not cover normal wear; damage caused by neglect, misuse, or the failure to perform normal/necessary maintenance; disassembly of any product by any person other than AL MAR’s warranty department.
Please do not use your new product as a screwdriver, pry bar, chisel, or punch. We warn against throwing your product, using it for any purpose other than cutting, and sharpening your product on a power grinding wheel. Any of these acts will void your warranty.
Knives purchased on the internet through discount websites, mail order outlets, or any other unauthorized source are not entitled to our warranty coverage. Any products which we determine to be counterfeit are not entitled to our warranty coverage.
Any modifications to the AL MAR product from its original factory condition will void its limited lifetime warranty. Al MAR Knives is not responsible for parts or treatments added to or removed from the product or for products that are otherwise modified in any way.
Edge Technologies Engineering, LLC (“ETE”) has taken over almarknives.com along with the manufacture, distribution, and sale of AL MAR Knives effective January 1, 2019. ETE cannot provide warranty services for knives manufactured prior to January 1, 2019. Warranty services are retained by ETE for knives manufactured on and after January 1, 2019. These knives include all AMK model numbers represented on this website.
ETE expressly disclaims any and all implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose.
Warranty Limits
ETE shall not be liable for any incidental, special, consequential reliance, or punitive damages. ETE’s liability under any circumstances is limited to the purchase price. This product has only one use—as a cutting tool. ETE’s Knives carry no warranty except as expressly contained herein.
